Don't judge a new person in your life by his or her past. Although it's certainly true that past behavior is an indicator of future behavior, this individual has gone through a kind of evolution and has probably learned a good lesson or two. That doesn't mean you should trust anyone blindly, Leo. But you do have to keep your mind open to the possibilities. If you are beginning a relationship, just make sure you do so with a perfectly clean slate. Bringing up the past will only hinder the potential.
